Random Album Cover Project

The other night I was sitting on my couch and my wife said she found a cool thing to do while cruising Facebook.  She said first to go to Wikipedia and click “Random Article.” The name of the article was suppose to represent the name of your band.  Next she directed me to The Quotations Page where I had to click “Random Quotes.”  I had to use the first couple of words from the last quote to have as the album title.  The last step and me going to Flickr then clicking “The Last Seven Days” on the bottom of the page (note: I had to then click “Interesting photos from the last 7 days).  I was then allowed to select on of the images available on the page to serve as the album cover.

After doing this we realized this would be an awesome and somewhat humorous project for my PhotoShop students.  I have attached to albums that we created as examples.  I am excited to get this project going!

Excel Board Glogs

Recently students in my 7th grade computers and the task to create board games in Excel.  They had to write the instructions on how to make the game and how to play.  Afterwards, they created a Glog about their game and uploaded files to Dropbox.  You can view their Glogs by checking out our class wiki:
